Alexandre is a Provence-born painter who resides in La Garde Adhémar , Provence France.

Alexandre creates vibrant landscape oil paintings of the Provence and generous still lifes. He received his formal training in painting from Jeanne Nove in the Fine Art University of Lyon and he studied in Maitre Maurice Montet's studio.

Alexandre refuses the qualifier of Artist, calling only Maîtres Vincent, Paul, Henri, Charles, Pierre, Michel, Nicolas which rock its imaginary. It is defined as a simple craftsman in his studio of painting rocked by the song the crickets and the cicadas.

Alexandre likes to work the matter with the feelings brought back of his long walks in the "Garrigue". The countryside of Provence, by its light and its scents, is a source of inspiration without end for a painter. The pale sun of winter or the heats suns of summer makes vibrate the nature. It is a little part of this richness which the painting of Alexandre transposes on his canvas.

For now several seasons, spontaneous and luminous paintings of Alexandre, with Fauvistes tonalities, have been collected by French, Swiss and Belgian amateurs. In the Salons, the painting of Alexandre touches an increasingly large audience.
